How old are you?
12

How long have been djing?
4 years

What got you into djing?
I've been into music since i was about 11, after following the Hardcore/Trance scene around for years and then fell into the funky house scene after a couple of trips to Ibiza, it was funky house that then lead me to Venus... I first started going to venus in about 2002 where i met Andy Clarke who was already a Venus resident dj back then, he suggested to me and a couple of friends, that we should get some decks and try learning to dj. so that was it, he basically thought us to dj from there on out, and me and my 2 friends started our first residency 6 months later at Chute Bar in Ashton, which then lead onto our residency at Venus

How long have you been playing for Venus?I'
I've been playing for Venus around 4 Years switch between Friday and Saturday night events

Who would you aspire to dj with?
Far to many to mention, but playing at venus you always come across some big names in the dj box

Who is your favorite dj and why
There are lots of big name Dj's i could put into this box here, but my favorite Dj who i loved to watch playing behind the decks, even before i started playing myself is John Steward. i followed John Steward around for years trying to get every copy of his Northern Comfort compilation, i dont know how many times ive been stood there in that Dj box trying to work out how he has mixed them two tunes together. (even now!) For me he isn't the most technical dj around be he just always knows what tune to put on at the right times, he can bring a crowd up and down as he wants and very rarely does he make a mistake behind them decks. oh and he is a top guy too, he is still my friend even after loosing about 10 years worth of house music cds that he lent me, at Sankeys on new year. :)

What advice would you give an aspiring dj?
Keep practicing, and dont just pigeon hole yourself to 1 genre of music, experiment with all kinds of music you never know, where you will get asked to play

What does 2010 have in store for you?
Well this year i think im gonna try and get more involved with the producing sides of things, Also ive just swapped my Friday night residency to Saturdays, So you will be seeing a lot more of me

See you all on the dancefloor ....
