Who is your favourite dj and why?
Whenever I am not DJing I like to go and check out other DJ's. I've been all over the country and Europe clubbing and I can hand on heart say I've never heard a DJ as good as John Steward. Anyone who knows me knows how much I rate the guy and aspire to be like him, and anyone who's heard him will know what I am talking about. His mixing has to be heard to be believed.
What advice would you give an aspiring dj?
Keep your feet on the ground and your hands in the air.......Oi Oi!!!!
What does 2010 have in store for you?
Production, Ibiza and most importantly......the best club around....Venus....AV IT!!!!!

On Saturday February 2nd 2008, a crowd of Venus faithfuls watched a DJ called Mike Lee making his debut and simultaneously asked "Where the f**king hell did he come from?" as he began to work his magic with the crowd.
The simple answer was that he's spent the last 3 years playing in an array of bars, nightclubs and good lord knows where else, learning his trade the old fashioned way.
Mike adopted his quick mixing style from his house and garage roots, being heavily influenced by the likes of E-Z. A few years on he transposed this into funky House music in his first fully fledged residency at the award winning Chute Bar in Ashton-under-lyne, famed for it's devotion to funky house.
Mike's brand of house music is very pumping yet with loads of vocals, using lots of specially edited DJ tools, and a few classics thrown in for good measure to supply exactly what a crowd needs.
The future looks incredibly promising having recently collaborated with veteran Manchester DJ Shaunee Lever on their track "Running In & Out My Life", with bookings in Ibiza confirmed for the summer and with his mix cd's blasting out of almost every car in the north-west!
